Community Reading Day

Applewild hosted members of the greater community at our annual Community Reading Day. Representatives from both the Fire and Police Departments read to the Kindergarten and First Grade students while Joanna DiSantos, the Executive Director of United Neighbors of Fitchburg, spoke to Mr. Schrader's 5th grade class about their work before sharing a story with the class. Mayor DiNatale joined a class and spoke of the importance of civil service before asking the group to help him select a book to read.
