Empty Bowls Project to Wrap-Up at Applewild About Arts

13 Apr

Since October 18th beginning with a two-week residency featuring master potter Shana Brautigam, Applewild students, faculty, friends, and our greater community have collaborated to produce stunning clay bowls. From Preschool  and up, students molded, rolled, threw, and pressed clay. The results were charming, often whimsical, and sometimes stunning. dsc_0595

All  proceeds through the sales of the bowls will go to United Neighbors of Fitchburg to combat hunger in the local community.

The project is wrapping up on April 20th during Applewild About Arts. Bring your bowl and fill it with ice cream during the ice cream social. Don’t yet have a bowl?  Purchase a bowl that day and receive ice cream for 5 dollars!
