Spanish Teacher – grades 7 through 9

Applewild School announces an opening for a part time Spanish Teacher (grades 7-9) for the 2010-2011 academic year. Internship opportunity.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish language or literature or BA in related field and native speaker
• Demonstrated respect for adolescents and different learning styles
• Demonstrated skills in working effective and collaboratively as a team player
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written

Faculty members also serve on committees, have duties outside the classroom such as coaching, and participate in the life of the school community. The School seeks applicants who have a strong academic background and a genuine fondness for working with students.
