Applewild Alumni Council

Welcome to the Alumni Council
by Molly Tarleton '91, Chair

The Applewild Alumni Council was formed to foster and strengthen ties between the school and its alumni community. The council consists of former students and faculty and staff that attended or worked at Applewild. The members work on outreach and help plan alumni events.

Applewild has seen 52 graduating classes since 1957.   By staying in touch with our alumni we can see first hand the impact that an Applewild education has on an individual student. However, when we are able to pull together and look at what our alumni are doing across the generations, we see the full impact that Applewild School has generated over its 53 year history.

Currently, the Alumni Council is really focused on getting and staying connected with alumni through Facebook.   However, you don’t have to be on Facebook to stay connected with Applewild. Please submit a class update on yourself to Sean Morrow, Alumni Office Coordinator. Your Class Agent would love to hear from you and we can put the update in the next Cider Press.

Or if you are in the area stop by and visit the campus.

Be sure to check out the Applewild Alumni Spotlight. Each month we will highlight a different alumnus starting with the 1960’s and moving through the decades. If you know someone who should be highlighted or if we can even highlight you, just email Sean Morrow.

Staying in touch is the primary goal of the Applewild Alumni Council. We want to be available for your requests and concerns. And we want to keep you aware of events at Applewild near and far. Please know that Applewild needs the support of its Alumni. Please click here if you want to make a financial pledge to the Annual Fund.

How you can help the Applewild Alumni Council
Are you connected with a former classmate that is doing great work in the community? The Alumni Council wants to know about your connections. They may also be a good fit for the Laverack Family Alumni Award.

Do you want to send a thank you to a former teacher or share your favorite memories about Applewild? The Alumni Council is here to help you share.

Do you want to come back and visit campus? Stop on by! The Alumni Council is here to help you visit.

Do you want to ensure you have a class reunion or take part in a regional alumni gathering of former Applewild students? Let us know. The Alumni Council is here to help you plan.

The Alumni Council meets on a monthly basis to plan regional events, discuss alumni for the alumni spotlight, plans the Laverack Family Alumni Award, and encourages Alumni to get connected to Applewild on Facebook.
Please join us!
