Admission Matters Newsletter - April 2013

by Emily Walker Bracchitta
Director of Admission and Financial Aid

The Admission Office is in full swing all summer
At this time of year many prospective families consider making a change from the public schools.  At the same time, at Applewild we are immersed in the strength and depth of an Applewild education – the end of the year brings this into focus.  Please continue to talk about Applewild with families you know who are looking for opportunities for their children, and encourage parents to call me to talk about their questions.  The Admission Office is open all summer!

Take a Look Mornings continue during the summer
Take a Look Mornings for prospective families will continue during the summer months.  The next one is June 6, and this one is the remaining Take a Look during which visitors will see students in classrooms, so we encourage visits then.  A note - the July Take a Look will be on Wednesday, July 3, because of the holiday.

Summer Camp registration is ongoing
Registration continues for all of the summer programs.  Please see our website for full information – there is something for everyone!  Click here to see our summer program offerings and to register!

Child Development Center at Applewild
Opening Day is June 17th for the Child Development Center at Applewild!  We are welcoming many new families.  Registration continues – there are still openings.  Children must be 2.9 years old to enroll – we are happy to take registrations a few months in advance of this age so that parents can secure their spot. Click here to to read more about our program.
