Applewild School has created a new Kindergarten option.
A new option has been added for families with young Kindergarten students. Many students begin Applewild Kindergarten at age 4 and spend two years in the Kindergarten program. Now the school is formalizing this option. Students who are not yet five or who are developmentally not ready for a full day Kindergarten program can now be a part of a two year Kindergarten program offering AM-K in the first year, from 8:00 am to noon, followed by the full day Kindergarten program in the second year, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm with a noon dismissal on Fridays. The child in the AM-K program will be in the same classroom as the child in the full day Kindergarten. They will have the same teachers and curriculum. But AM-K students will end their day just before lunch. The cost for AM-K will be less than the full day Kindergarten program. Students who complete the full year K program will be ready for first grade at Applewild.
For more information or to find out about financial aid and transportation options in both MA and NH, contact Emily Bracchitta at ebracchitta@applewild.org or 978-342-6053 x110. Visit the admissions page at www.applewild.org to learn more. Campus tours are available daily.
