Your summer learning adventure is soon to begin! The Counselor-in-Training (C.I.T)program is an opportunity for you to find out about yourself and make a difference in the lives of others. It is a great way to build self esteem, confidence, trust, and cooperation. During this two-week adventure you will have the opportunity to learn how to interact and entertain younger campers. We hope you also have the occasion to gain new friends in this experience. At the end of the two weeks you will have the chance to earn a certificate of completion, along with information about how you can contact other camps in the area for employment, if desired. This experience does not necessarily guarantee you a future position at the Applewild Adventure Camp. This challenging experience, does, however, assist you in developing necessary skills for future applications to and employment in children centered programs, such as youth athletic programs, mentoring programs, babysitting, extended day programs, and much, much more.
