There’s something for everyone at Applewild! From archery and arts and crafts to certified Red Cross
swimming lessons and summer reading help, children of any age help put together their own schedule to create a memorable summer.
Our programs are located at Applewild School in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on a 26-acre campus with beautiful facilities, including an outdoor pool, athletic fields and playgrounds, two gymnasiums, computer labs, a woodworking center, a theater, and even a frog pond! Applewild is just down the hill from the Flat Rock Wildlife Sanctuary, an Audubon preserve with six miles of nature trails and a beautiful reservoir. Campers enjoy activity options that take advantage of Applewild’s incredible facilities and unique location.
Junior Camp is a program for campers entering Kindergarten or first grade. Junior Campers enjoy instructional swimming lessons, music, arts and crafts, story time, free play, and other creative activities.
Senior Camp gives campers entering grades 2-9 the chance to enjoy the structure of a traditional day camp, couples with the opportunities available only at Applewild, such as rocketry, woodworking, and drama! Each Senior Camper chooses three multi-age activities to complete his or her individual schedule.
We have flexible scheduling for parents who want to take 1 week during one session and 1 week during another session.
