Advice From First Grade
For the second year, our first grade students have put together a collection of their best advice to be presented to the 8th graders at their graduation.
Meaningful, and very sweet advice we can all use.
Make new friends. Follow the rules. Help others. Be kind. Make connections. Respect others. Ask questions. Be safe. Do your best. Remember Applewild's Core Values.
Read. Share. Raise your hand. Give your best effort. Tell your teacher if there is something wrong. Work hard. Make sure to have fun. Play nice. Smile. Share your smiles with others.
Do your homework. Do art. Look around - explore. Try new things. Be good. Remember your first grade buddy and teachers at Applewild. Thank your parents. Hug them.
Play outside. Learn something new everyday.
Try new classes. Don't be shy. Be brave.
Believe in yourself. Don't be scared. You CAN do it! Get good grades and good luck in high school! We will miss you! Come back and visit Applewild! :)
