Child Supervision Available for 1st Speaker Series
APPLEWILD SPEAKER SERIES REMINDER
Join us on Wednesday, November 30 at 6:30 pm for Understanding Stress and Anxiety: The Impact on Behavior and Learning presented by Dr. Steven Michelson, Ph.D.. Research shows that an appropriate amount of stress is necessary for peak performance, but too little/too much can lead to shutting down or under performance. Come and learn more about
productive vs. toxic stress and anxiety and how we can support students to develop resilience and the skills needed for optimal performance and healthy responses to stress.
Dr. Michelson is the Director of Life Management Associates in Harvard, MA and specializes in helping children, adults, and families develop strategies to thrive in our time-pressured and complicated world.
The presentation will take place in the Laverack Room. All are welcome, and please feel free to bring guests! An RSVP is appreciated but not required. For more information, please contact Christie Stover at firstname.lastname@example.org
Eighth grade students are available to provide childrens' activities and/or homework supervision during the presentation.
Please RSVP with the child's name and age by noon on Tuesday, Nov 29 if you plan to bring your child(ren).
