April Building Community
Building Community: Admissions, Development & Marketing
We are excited to share that we already have more students enrolled for next year than we did last year until May 31st. It is reaffirming to have your children re-enrolling in addition to welcoming new students into our community for our 2019-20 school year. If you have yet to re-enroll, please know that spaces are filling up and we are eager to hear from you.
With all the good news, we still have select openings in the younger grades and have more room to grow in fifth, sixth and seventh grade. Your authentic recommendations are the best way to spread the news about Applewild and our programs. Thank you for helping to share your stories about Applewild with friends, family and colleagues.
Spring is here and we’re gearing up for a busy season of events!
April Open House – April 18th at 9:15 am
Our Spring Open House is a perfect opportunity to visit during public school vacation week. Prospective students will have an opportunity to join classes, tour the campus and enjoy lunch with their families. Parents will discover how an Applewild education can make a difference in the lives of their children.
Board of Visitors –April 24th
Each year community members are invited to campus for a networking breakfast and half-day program to have a glimpse into Applewild and our programs. Members serve a two-year term and act as ambassadors in their local communities. We will be showcasing our Jazz Band, students, and faculty.
Grandparents/Special Persons Day – May 3rd
Invitations were mailed to all grandparents two weeks ago and we are already receiving many RSVP’s. If your child’s grandparents are unable to attend and you would like to have a special guest invited, please email Julie Marabello their contact information at email@example.com. The Parents Association graciously helps welcome all our special guests on campus. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Katie Dufour, PA Volunteer Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Golf Tournament 2019
Please consider donating a raffle or silent auction item for our Golf Tournament on Friday, May 17that Red Tail Golf Club in Devens. We are also grateful to receive gift cards to add to our baskets. All monies raised will support our students and programs. If you would like to volunteer to help wrap baskets, set up the raffles & silent auction tables, or oversee the contests on the golf course, please email me at email@example.com.
