This October, we’re celebrating the strengths of dyslexic thinkers - and giving one student a full scholarship to our Non-Linear Leadership Camp (July 26–August 1, 2026)!
Far too often dyslexia is seen as a disadvantage or a barrier to success, but I've always told people to see it as a superpower – like I do.
~Sir Richard Branson, dyslexic entrepreneur
At Applewild, we celebrate learning differences and the unique gifts each learner brings to our community. Our Foundations program supports bright students with dyslexia and language-based learning differences through explicit, multisensory instruction, executive function coaching, assistive technology, and small, skills-focused classes. All of this happens within the full Applewild experience of arts, athletics, outdoor learning, and leadership.
Students in Foundations are leaders, thinkers, creators, coders, makers, artists, musicians, teammates, and advocates. Most importantly, they learn to name their strengths and use them to thrive.

- If you had a superhero name, what would it be and why, and what would your theme song be?
